The Arizona Wildcats dominated tonight's game at the Team Dinner held at the Albuquerque Convention Center and catered by Rudy's Bar-b-que. Arizona won three of the four rounds of Survey Says, a Family Feud-style game that is hosted by Gus Davis.
In round one, the Wildcats' offense stunned Nevada's offense, sweeping all three questions for a final score of 588-0. Nevada's defense outscored Arizona's defense, 279-200, in round two. In round three, the Nevada coaches jumped out to a 260-0 lead after two questions but lost on the final question as Arizona posted 270 points on "Name a favorite game show."
For the final round, Davis pulled the Nevada defense back up on stage. For their opponents, he decided to play a quick game of Gus Says with the Arizona coaches and players. Formated just like Simon Says, the coaches outlasted the offense, following Davis' directions.
Nevada grabbed 89 points on the first question, answering 5 the top 6 for "Name a pet college students sneak in to their dorm room." Arizona fired right back on the second question, posting 100 points on "Name a reason the person in front of you is driving slowly."
Coming down to the final question, which was "Name something you need to be the next Hugh Hefner," Arizona grabbed the momentum by buzzing in with the top answer (money). The Wildcats' coaches got six of the top-7 answers before Nevada had a chance to steal. The Wolf Pack couldn't come up with the right answer, giving Arizona a 376-89 win.
