BOWL WEEK IS OFFICIALLY UNDER WAY!


Today started with a press conference at the Isleta Resort & Casino, followed by the kickoff luncheon. Hall of Famer Joe Theismann spoke to the media and crowd. The day ended with a battle of the bands and pep rally in Old Town Plaza. Our activities conclude with Fan Fest tomorrow at 9 a.m.

Friday, Dec. 20

Thursday, Dec. 19

Today, a few players from each team went to the UNM Children's Hospital to spread a little holiday cheer. Tonight the teams ate Rudy's BBQ at the Albuquerque Convention Center and competed in a Family Feud-style game of Survey Says. Colorado State won three of the four rounds, thanks in large part to its offense, which was victorious in two rounds.


Wednesday, Dec. 18

Colorado State arrived this afternoon and was greeted at Cutter Aviation. This evening, the teams ate pizza and played games at iT'z before heading back to their hotels and receiving their bowl gifts.

Tuesday, Dec. 17
Washington State was the first to arrive, landing in the Duke City Tuesday night. The Cougars were greeted at the Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown hotel by media, Gildan New Mexico Bowl staff and board members, and a mariachi band.
