Bowl Week Concludes With Lunch and Pep Rally

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- The last day of bowl week activities went off without a hitch as the New Mexico Bowl held its kickoff luncheon at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Albuquerque and concluded the day with a pep rally at University Stadium.

The morning started with a press conference at the Hard Rock. BYU's Bronco Mendenhall, Matt Reynolds and Andrew Rich and UTEP's Mike Price, Robert Soleyjacks and Trevor Vittatoe fielded questions for almost an hour before the lunch.

At lunch, the Cougar and Miner cheerleaders and band entertained the guests before the buffet-style lunch was served.  New Mexico Bowl Executive Director Jeff Siembieda emceed the event, introducing speakers from ESPN, the two head coaches and keynote speaker Dick Tomey.

The day concluded with the annual pep rally and fireworks show.
